SPUTTERING - PVD
Sputtering
A new method to chrome items
ERREBIPLAST was the first company in the footwear sector to purchase a sputtering plant for chrome plating: sputtering is a latest generation surface-coating technology.
It allows to transfer at a molecular level the physical properties of the material. Being a cold transfer, it can be deposited on plastics, ceramics and metals sensitive to temperatures.
The process is automated and controlled by software that guarantee process control and repeatability. In contrast to galvanic techniques, sputtering is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly and non-polluting human process, it does not produce processing residues to be disposed of.
*NICHEL E CROMO FREE*It does not weigh down and does not chemically weaken the treated materials, allowing to treat objects with very thin surfaces. We can deposit different types of materials: pure metals, precious metals, metal alloys, oxides and composites.
The processing makes the objects more resistant to usury and scratches.

Plasma and PECVD
PLASMA and PECVD (Plasma- Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition)
Plasma technology allows to activate the surfaces of treated objects by
modifying the surface chemical structure and maintaining the physical and
mechanical characteristics unaltered.
This treatment prepares the objects for
subsequent application processes. We can perform this process both in
high-vacuum and at atmospheric pressure with different machines for the
targeted activation of the areas to be treated.
Plasma-assisted chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) is an invisible
barrier-effect coating obtained at room temperature that can be used on all
surfaces. It is flexible, non-stick and non-stick, anti-scale, anti-scratch and
anti-wear. It is mainly used in the lighting and auto-motive sector.
Both technologies are eco-sustainable and non-polluting.
